This is an update! It has been almost 4 months since I reported this. The Unified Police Department still hasn't assigned it to an investigator or taken any action. The person who did this no longer works at the same place and probably skipped town when the rental agency they purchased things from let them know that her payments were delinquent. Will probably never catch the person now. This is an embarrassment that our tax dollars go to pay for this type of incompetence. All respect I ever had for police officers is now gone, just like the perp. ORIGINAL POST>Terrible. Filed a fraud report a month ago when someone used my checks online. Found the address, the merchandise bought, the name of the person who did it and they haven't done anything about it. Apparently they only care about offenses that bring in money.

The police officer I spoke with was great and upfront with me and the detective is also great. They were really fast with helping me and also good at keeping in contact. My only complaint is the guy who accepts the calls for the police report, extremely sassy and rude and expected me to know this city even after I told him I’m not from here and then he responds “well I don’t work there” it’s just very discouraging to have someone talk to me like that after having a bad situation happen to me
